International Workshop

Literature Review Made Easy for Researcher

Literature Searching Techniques, Critical Review and Developing Literature Review Using EndNote X7 and NVIVO V.10

Research Center for Training & Development (RCTD) offers a wide range of training and development opportunities for the researchers. RCTD is regularly conducting workshops since the last three years, to train the faculty/researchers in planning, conducting and publishing high quality research.

RCTD is organizing an international workshop "Literature Review Made Easy for Researcher” on 17-18 September, 2015 (Thursday-Friday) through High Definition Video Conferencing. The first day of the workshop is designed to understand the advanced browsing and searching techniques for relevant literature from print and digital sources manually as well through a commuter assisted program Endnote X7 to get references and full text articles. The researchers will do practice sessions/exercises during the workshop to search their relevant literature from the databases.

The second day of the workshop will focus on critical review and development of the literature, including evaluating and synergizing knowledge contents. The laborious and hectic way of doing literature review is now changed into systematic way of doing using NVIVO V.10. We will be using a specialized software for organization of literature, systematic review and development of the literature. The researchers can import their hundreds of articles, run text queries, identify themes, link themes and visualize/analyze  in NVIVO V.10. The workshop is a blend of lectures, presentations and hands on practice sessions using EndNote X7 and NVIVO V.10.

RCTD will provide all the softwares for practice sessions. The participant will also get a certificate of participation and a dvd of workshop recordings for reinforcement of learning. The researchers from Universities, Research Institutes, R&D Organizations and Social Sector Organizations can participate individually or institutional in their own auditorium/office/home from anywhere around the world. The individual participant can participate using a laptop/desktop computer connected with internet. For institutional registration and arrangements, contact us through email (workshops@rctd.org) or Call us (+92 3224309974, +971 551192657, +1 905 487 1733).
